Building Description: Built by the Chinese Canadian Community and opened in January 1982, this building replaced The Chinese Hospital which had operated on the same site since 1899. We are located in the heart of Chinatown at Herald Street and Government Street.

Building Amenities: Features a large spacious lounge on the 1st floor, and a lounge on each resident floor. There is a lovely garden that is used weather permitting.

Type of Accommodation: 29 Private Beds with Bathrooms, 1 Semi-Private Bed with Bathroom

Cost: Residents pay up to 80% of their after tax income which covers the cost of food and accommodation.

Special Recreational Opportunities: Exercise programs including Tai Chi, art, music, bowling, mah jong, garden, walks in China Town and performances by cultural groups.

Safety/Security Features: 24-hour staffing with Nurse on duty. Secured facility, access code for entry/exit. All external doors are secured. Video surveillance of outside entrances.
