Building Description: Sidney Care Home is situated on a 1-acre lot, 2 blocks from downtown Sidney. It is a 1-storey building, wood frame construction, with gardens on three sides. The gardens are fenced with locking gates and include areas for gathering with tables, chairs and umbrellas.
Type of Accommodation: We have 44 single rooms with ensuite and 5 double (shared) rooms with larger ensuites. Rooms vary in size. All rooms have garden views and all are on the ground level.
Cost: Residents pay up to 80% of their after-tax income which covers the cost of food and accommodation.
We are a secured facility, with locked gates/doors. The facility is staffed 24 hours a day. We have video surveillance in the corridors and lounge areas. Doors that open to the street are locked and alarmed 24 hours a day.
